Desert Morning Dove a Sculptured Multi-use piece that is a candle holder, a flower holder and a sculptured work of art. Inspired by a family of Doves that returns each spring to the artists fathers home and nests in their backyard of their New Mexico home, this recycled metal and lava rock sculptured work is dedicated to this loving Dove family.

This unique piece was inspired after a 10 mile hike up the old Oliver Lee State Park and into the mountains at about 9,000 feet we stumbled across a stream and a region that was damp compared to the barrens of the rest of the hike. Within the stream was cattails and it was a reminder of the peace and calm and cool after 8 miles of hiking. Thus this piece upon return from our hike came to life.

The symbolism of a Cattail is peace and prosperity. In earlier time with a gift of the cattail, you will find that it is a flower that you would give to create peace between friends or lovers that may be fighting. This is a flower that you will hand someone to symbolize peace and let them know that you are thinking about them and that you also wish them prosperity.

Artist Rene Sepulveda crafted this unique metal and 5000 year old lava rock from the Valley of the Fires as a one of a kind offering of peace and prosperity.
