"Cyclone" is a Natural One of a Kind, Wood and 5000 year old Lava Rock Abstract Sculpture by Artist Rene Sepulveda.
Inspired by his years at SMU and Oklahoma State University as an award winning track and field coach. As an NCAA Coach Rene Sepulveda he led multiple athletes to great success as conference champions, Olympic contenders and record setters. Coach Sepulveda established himself as the coach that blew away the competition, much like the Oklahoma wind storms and cyclones he experienced during his tenure in coaching.
This piece is crafted of heavy 5000 year old lava rock and ancient Lincoln National Forest wood. These pieces he envisioned matched naturally and when enhanced with his colorishis vision of texture enhancement and color blending, created a magical natural cyclone look.
This look and piece is a nod to the speed and natural accomplishments of his fine former NCAA award winning athletes and is dedicated to their successes on the track and after as inspirational and successful adults.
